Qigong and moving meditation in Calgary and online

Breathe slowly. Move gently. Come back to yourself.

Zhong Yuan Qigong classes in Calgary and online, taught by Oksana Yavorska.

01

What is qigong?

Qigong (said "chee-gong") is a traditional Chinese practice. It joins slow, easy movement with steady breathing and calm, focused attention. "Qi" is often translated as life energy, and "gong" means a skill practised over time.

You don't need to be fit, flexible or experienced. Most of the practice is done standing or sitting, at your own pace.

02

A living tradition

Oksana teaches in the tradition of Zhong Yuan Qigong, named for the central plain of China, home of the Shaolin Temple. It is taught in levels, beginning with relaxation, then quietness, then wisdom.
